Judith A. Fincher, PhD, is a Senior Security Engineer at Electrosoft Services, Inc., a boutique identity management firm offering security services to federal and non-federal clients. In that role she provides security architecture consulting services to the Veterans Health Administration (VHA), other federal clients. Working with the VHA Security Architect (John “Mike” Davis), she developed the official VHA Security and Privacy Architecture (VHA-SPA) and is currently engaged in an effort by the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) to align and integrate the SPA with the VHA Health Systems/Business Architecture, and with on-going efforts to create an integrated Electronic Health Record (iEHR) between the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD). Previously, she worked for a number of other companies providing Information Technology (IT) services to federal and non-federal clients, including the telecommunications industry (BT/MCI/Concert).
